Make money with your math skills!

This site is a platform for users to share math knowledge and experience. There is no marketing other than word of mouth. The site is growing in popularity because of the content and usage of the users. As more users join, the opportunity for advertising and feature development increases to make this site the number one communication site for math nation wide. The plan below shows how early users may profit from using this site.

Right now, there are 340 users registered and some good content in the forums. The user interface is basic, the chat rooms are functional and there are some nice ways to enter expressions using the @@ codes and the $$ codes explained on the homepage links.

The Plan

  1. Register and use this site. Post questions and answers in the forums. Use the chat rooms to talk about math with your friends and colleagues.
  2. Refer this site to everyone that may be interested. Simply send the emails of those you referred to mathchat@mathchat.net and we will track how many of your referrals end up registering on the site.
  3. Each week we will rank and post the top users based on number of successful referrals, amount of activity on the site, and quality of content added. Check back to see where your name falls on the list.
  4. Top users will be granted higher security rights which will allow them to add new courses and play a role in site configuration and feature design if they wish.
  5. Once the site has enough quality content and a large enough user base that we can advertise for profit, we will reward the earliest users who maintained the highest rankings with the highest percentage of profit. Imagine if you had been one of the early adopters on Facebook.
  6. Guarantee. There is absolutely no guarantee that you will make money. This whole effort may fail miserably, but I think it's a cool site and there are not a lot of good places to chat about math online. So worst case scenario, you have nice tool to use and you will get to see it grow.
